At least something to cheer about! May be the state Govt. is last in terms of D.A. payment, they are the first to provide foreign trips to it's employees. Leave apart the other state Govt.s, even the Central
Govt. is yet to extend this facility to it's staff.
As per the new provisions, employees can visit the neighboring countries once in every ten years. The journey may be performed by national carrier or any private airlines of the country in economy class.
In addition to this they can enjoy One Home Travel Concession once in every five years to visit any place within the State.
List of the countries for foreign visit :
Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, P kistan, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives.
